Be SAFE- crazy man in our town.

Gunman on loose after shootings in Indiana and Illinois

Happening in our little town right now.
I work at the school one mile from the shooting.
We were on lock down all afternoon.
Buses did not take students home.
Parents came to sign students out.
Traffic and Parents, kids everywhere.
Newscasts in Chicago area broadcasting.
Can you say Crazy?
Worried until my high school son walked in the door safe!
Our quaint little community no longer feels safe.
School has been canceled today.
No site of this crazy man.
Long restless night with random sleep.
Praying for the victims and their families.

Please Be safe and hug your family tight and hope they find this crazy killer before he hurts more people.

Oh Julie - isn't it so crazy? I'm afraid to hang my laundry out. It's just so senseless. I can't stand the thought that someone was killed out working their job - for what? I feel that the others are lucky to be alive. It makes you realize how fragile life really is.

Julie, I am from this small town also and you talk about nerve wracking. I stood in line forever at the high school and then waiting almost forever again for my son's name to be called. I was so glad to see him and just hug him. Imagine how so many felt at that high school especially after the presentation the night before.

I am praying for all our safety and hopefully this will end soon. The rumors are crazy and I am still a nervous wreck.

Hugs,

Anne F.
