Hubby had knee surgery on Monday. I know it's not fair but I just had to get a shot with this nylon thing on his knee. What was the poor man to do...chase me around the room?

The Three Bears asleep in the living room. Poor Hubby on medications for his surgery made his extra sleepy. I dont know what's up with the other 2 bears.

And I purchased this book for a whopping dime at our local library! It is a huge hard back book. This one was printed in 1984.

Hubby is having outpatient knee surgery today. Praying for speedy surgery and recovery time.

Pray for my nursing skills, too. I am lacking in that department. Not that I am not caring. I wear my heart on my sleeve, I am just not the nurse type. Hope that makes sense. I wll do my best:D

Flowers in my Garden

A stenciled bushel basket full of juicy red apples. This has been stenciled on my kitchen wall for 8-9 years. Contemplating on a change. Might paint over it, but have some doubts. I made the stencil myself and painted it. I was quite proud of myself at the time, as I am not that great of an artist or painter!

Some random pictures of my flower garden. Still waiting for it to "fill in". Usually by Mid July it is over growing and I have to weed some out.

The Dianthus are always my favorite because most of the time they return the next year and they don't spread all over the place like most perennials. Also, the dianthus have such pretty colors like raspberry and strawberry parfait. Who can resist with names like those. It's like a Cherry on TOP;)

Cupcakes...Just my size!

LOL @ my title. Cupcakes any size are my size! I have decided to make miniature cupcakes. No two will be alike or the same size because I use my fingers as the measuring device for the pom poms. These are the prototypes so far.

Patriotic Cottage Preview

All Handmade by me. I have about 4 of these that I will post to my shop in a day or two. Handcut each one from chipboard, glued, assembled, painted, glued, glittered, and added extra goodies! The sturdy base is covered in patriotic scrapbook paper.

Summer is Here!

Nineteen years and counting! My dh sent these beautiful red and yellow roses to my office on May 21. All the gals were envious of course.
