Oh my Pinkness!

If you have read my Christmas Eve post, you would have seen the large box my hubby had for me under the tree. This is what was in the box...Yay!

Now on with the Pinkness...

Here are the lovebirds without their eyes and beaks.

I didn't end up using the red hearts..I was patiently waiting for polka dot hearts I had ordered off of Etsy.

Ring around the Rosy.

The hearts have arrived today!!! Now to finish my order from my favorite blogger..Elizabeth.

Seriously she orders them by the dozen!

I believe they do make much more of a statement in batches. Sweet Peeps on their way to Ohio.

A few more were made and will be added to my shop in a day or two.

Happy Wednesday and let's hope the weekend is here soon,

Peeking In

Kane observing nature through the patio door and feeling the warmth of the furnace.
This is his morning spot.

A surprise package from Mary. She makes the best vintage beaded ornaments. Love it. Last year she made me gorgeous pink beaded ornaments.

Some pink love birds ready for Valentine's Day listing in my shop.
Yes, I will wait until after Christmas to list them!

Now to the recently cleaned up and half way organized craft studio! LOL since I have taken these pictures I have already changed some things up. I'll post them again another day. I found 3 baby planters from the 80's and am using them for storage.

My sister bought this Album at the local church thrift shop for me. She loves me!

Greenbeanbaby purchase from a year or so ago is the framed picture of her cut paper piecing.

Flossie the framed picture in the upper right hand corner was purchased from Jenny at EverydayisaHoliday last year. Love, Love, Love! My inspiration board is getting full!

Not the best picture with the sun streaming in but you can see all my glass containers. They are filled with beautiful beads, flowers, and other goodies!

The 'messiest' storage in the room. I keep all of my chipboard in these roll out bins. The sewing machine is in the bottom bin. That hasn't gotten a lot of use. I prefer to work with paper, yarn, glitter, and glue.
Some yarn, some felt, and hiding some rolls of corrugated cardboard beside the cabinet.

Pretty pinks and reds displayed above the cabinet.

A cupcake plaque purchased from etsy.

The cabinet doors opened to expose the supplies inside: ribbons, threads, vintage trims, crepe paper, tulle, and a tin full of embroidery threads.

Up close with the pretties in the glass jars!

More prettiness.

The other album my sis purchased for me from the church thrift store. She really, really does love me! Honest.
Some projects yet to be started or finished: A wicked Halloween picture, garland, Christmas yarn ball wreath, a vintage magazine holder.

I cannot wait to see the finished project from these yarn balls. I might add some pink pom poms.

Aqua, Red, and White LOVE! Where's the pink?

I finished up the Christmas wrapping of the gifts tonight.
Need to double check my lists and see if more gifts are needed..Crossing fingers that I am done.

Snow and/or ice tonight.
Be safe and warm.

Candy Cane Ruffled Garland

Happy Saturday. It is a windy cool day in Hoosierville. It makes me just want to stay in all day, craft, and sip hot coffee.

A good way to use up some vintage craft ribbon I had laying around with no idea what I was going to use it for. Gathered up and all ruffly for you to hang on whatever you desire on it.

3 are in my shop..one with round buttons, one with rectangle buttons, and the last one with oval buttons. The buttons are where you want to hang your decorations on for your very personalized garland.

Almost forgot:
And a green one made for good measure for those traditional Christmas ornaments.

Hope you are nice and toasty today,

All Together Now pretty in pink

Take a simple cheap inexpensive wooden frame
a couple of coats of pink craft paint (note: sand very lightly first to rough up the surface)
I used some leftover glaze that I used on my dining room set to grunge it up a bit and tone down the pinkness. The sweet paper cut illustration art was purchased from sweet Ellia. I chose a scrapbook paper to matte it with.
I received a special heart from a special gal last week. Visit Elizabeth's blog for wonderful blog posts and fun projects.
Elizabeth also sent me this tag earlier this year...don't you just love it. What a sweet dear she is.
Two women I have met online and am pleased to call them friends. Surely Pretty in Pink in my BOOK BLOG.

Hope your are having a happy Sunday

Bewitching

This little witch is sporting green yarn sneakers and yellow yarn for hair! Holding her broom in one hand and her carved pumpkin in the other. The added embellishments really makes this card pop! Orange vintage lace has been added to the edges and 3 pumpkin charms are dangling at the bottom. Has been added to my LOLLISHOP

I really like this one...I want to keep it for myself
Hope your weekend is beautiful

There's no place like Gnome...

What a silly title. I made this for a surprise for one of my flickr, etsy friends. She is just a sweetie. He should be on his way in a day or two!

Mister Kane wanting to blog again. What should the title of his blog be?

Hubby is having outpatient knee surgery today. Praying for speedy surgery and recovery time.

Pray for my nursing skills, too. I am lacking in that department. Not that I am not caring. I wear my heart on my sleeve, I am just not the nurse type. Hope that makes sense. I wll do my best:D
